The Commercial VCT offers an online role play. In this digital role play, the candidate as an account manager has to deal with four customers or prospects. Every customer has his own procurement style, which the candidate account manager has to deal with. Customers reappear in the course of the test, so that the entire sales process is played out, from initial contact to product presentation, objection removal, negotiation, consumer relations and aftersales. There are a total of 12 assignments with film clips to which the candidate is requested to react through a webcam.
This test measures commercial competences and commercial insight. These competences are customer focus, conversational skills, ability to influence, problem-solving capability, result-driven approach and immunity to stress.
Feedback is also given with regard to the effectiveness of the behaviour shown by the candidate and a statement made regarding the self-insight of the candidate with respect to the same effectiveness.
